Pet Carpet Cleaning Tips

Every indoor pet has occasional accidents. For when this happens, you need to be prepared to clean it up as soon as possible!
*REMEMBER: Before cleaning with ANY products, you need to remember to spot test a small area in an inconspicuous spot.*
For Urine Stains: When you find a stain while it is still wet, make sure to blot up any access moisture as quickly as possible. The longer it sits, the worse it will be soaked in the floor, and the farther it will spread. Use clean paper towels to do that. After you get as much as you can up, use a carpet cleaner, or a homemade mixture to soak into the carpet, and start blotting it back up.

Feces or Dried Stains: Before beginning anything, try to get as much up as possible without pushing it into the carpet even more. After that, use a carpet cleaner, or the above natural mixture to soak the stain. After the stain is sufficiently soaked, let dry for a day, with something covering it where no one will walk through it. After it has dried, use paper towels to gentle remove anymore of the dirt, then vacuum the spot well. This should make the stain “Like it never even happened.”!
