Four convenient tips to prevent a water loss-
- Check Your Trees: While having trees around your home is nice to have, you need to be careful about what types of trees will grow well close to your home. It is a great idea to plant trees at least ten feet away from your home, and to make sure that trees with invasive roots should be planted at least 25 feet away.
- Regularly Maintain Appliances: It is a great idea to check your appliances for any issues, and make sure they are working properly. Over time, even small issues or leaks can cause big problems if not found in a timely manner.
- Watch Your Bill: Looking at your water bill every month, and paying attention to any spikes in water usage. This is a huge red flag that there could be an issue that you have not found yet.
- Take Action: Once you find a leak, GET IT FIXED! Not making it a priority could be a big mistake, Water can cause more damage by the minute, and then the wet area can begin mold growth.
