#NationalPreparednessMonth – Wrap Up

Throughout the month of September, SERVPRO of Allen, Barren, Hart, Green and Taylor Counties has been working through the weekly recommendations of Ready.gov about how to become better prepared for disasters in your area. Each week covered different topics:

Week #1 – Make A Plan

Week #2 – Build A Kit

Week #3 – Educate Yourself About Disasters and Emergencies

Week #4 – Teach Youth About Preparedness

Thank you to everyone who followed along with us this month, and if you missed it, you can still work through the weekly recommendations and activities. It is never too late to become prepared for an emergency!

*NOTE* - Also, do not forget to periodically update your emergency kits and run through your emergency plans with the whole family. Doing this will not only help your family remember what to do, but will also ease the minds of everyone by them knowing and practicing what to do.
