WINTER WEATHER WARNING IN KENTUCKY!

Throughout South Central Kentucky there has been an ice storm warning issued now through Thursday evening (February 11th, 2021).

Weather.com states that significant ice and snow mixture are on the horizon. Power outages and tree damage are both to be expected during this time. Extreme caution should be used while traveling, and staying home is strongly encouraged.

While the temperature continues to stay low throughout the week and power outrages are possible, make sure you take precautions against any frozen pipes, as this is the ideal environment for them to quickly happen.

Drip your taps.

Cover outside faucets.

Open cabinet doors with pipes in them to promote air flow.

Keep inside doors open for more air flow.

Keep garage door closed as much as possible to keep warm air inside.
